Description
Lease between the Trustees of the late John Young of Addiewell and The Pumpherston Oil Company Limited. Document sewn with blue tape, dated 21st, 23rd, 26th & 29th September 1939. Two plans are bound with the lease document. The first is dated 29th September 1939 and shows the location of the property near Blackburn in red at a scale of roughly 1:10500. The second, also dated 29th September 1939 is titled Blackburn HallâWest Lothian: plan shewing building sites. At a scale of roughly 1:2500 the area concerned is outlined in buff with the houses and steadings being in red and green respectively.
