Correspondence folder relating to Holmes Minerals and the agreeing of a lease. The letters are from J. Watson, Stuart and Kerr, Writers, and are addressed to William Love of the Broxburn Oil Company and concern the proposed leasing of the Holmes shale. Also included are a copy letter from Drummond and Reid to J. Watson, Stuart and Kerr concerning the lease and a letter from W. Montgomerie of the Broxburn Oil Company to J. Watson & Kerr that once accompanied the draft lease and plan for the Holmes minerals.
