Description
Register containing details of capital expenditure for the Pumpherston Oil Company Limited and details of depreciation allocated. It covers the years 1900 to 1942 by location: Pumpherston, Seafield, Breich, Deans, Woolfords and Tarbrax. Book also contains two pieces of scrap paper bearing calculations and a loose typewritten sheet dated 8th January 1917 summing up the company's capital expenditure from its formation up to 30th April 1916. This latter also has an explanatory note comparing the coal trade with the Scottish oil trade.
