Description
over the lands of Breichmill and Muirhall mains. Sewn with pink thread and dated 24th & 28th October 1932, the document gives the Lothians Electric Power Co. permission to construct power lines across these lands. A map is included at a scale of 208.33 feet to 1 inch (ie 1:2500) showing the route of the proposed power lines in red. A later map at the same scale shows a proposed construction of an overhead line in the same area. Two further documents show the annual payments received by the company for this wayleave. The first, dated 13th January 1945, shows the annual payment at £1/14/6, and the second, dated 18th October 1959 shows it at £2/11/10.
