Description

Digital copy of newspaper cutting describing golfer Steve Elkington's exhibition match at Pumpherston Golf Club ahead of the United States PGA Championship. He gained lifetime membership of the Club in July 1995.

Steve was introduced to the Club a couple of years earlier by his caddie, Buddy Renwick, originally from East Calder, and was a regular visitor each year before his honorary membership.
