Description
Young's Paraffin Light and Mineral Oil Company Limited, Central Electricity Board, Glasgow re land at Muirhall, West Calder. Terminated 27th May 1974. Wayleave agreement for the siting of two electricity pylons on Whitesykes Farm dated 3rd & 5th November 1928. Map attached, titled Central Electricity Board: central Scotland electricity scheme, 1927âplan no. D161/1, dated 1st February 1928. This shows the location of the land and the sites of the pylons in red. Scale is roughly 1 1/8" to 1000'. Also included are letters between the South of Scotland Electricity Board (dated 15th May 1974) and Young's (dated 27th May 1974) concerning the termination of the agreement at Martinmas 1974.
