Disposition by the Rt. Hon. The disposition is signed by Buchan and dated 2 May 1940. Attached is "Plan Referred To". "Road from Uphall Works to Roman Camp" with a Scale of Feet, 0 - 2000 (1/2"=100ft) signed by Buchan. The plots are referred to as Area A and Area B and both are outlined in Red. Note states that "In calculating Areas A and B it has been assumed that the L.& N.E.R. own two feet of land outside their fences. In calculating Area B one foot of land south of the road has been included to allow of the erection of a fence if required".
