Correspondence folder relating to a haulage road from Whitequarries to Duddingston Mines. Dated Oct 1939/June 1941 Details the erection of a cart bridge and widening of cart road to allow agricultural tenants to gain access to his steading without interfering with the haulage traffic. Also to lay a laulage road from Whitequarries Mine to join up with the electric tramway near duddingston No. 3 mine.
