Description
Digital copy of photograph of donor's grandfather, Thomas A. Darling and James Roberts taken next to the first Raw holding next to the garage. James Roberst gave Thomas Darling a reference for a job as Forrester with the Earl of Buchan at Almondell and he worked there for 40 years and when he retired they gave him the lodge for free. James Roberts moved to Broxburn Oil Works after Tarbrax shut down and had 2 daughters, Ella and Jean. They stayed at Elms Station Road, Broxburn. Also attached is a photo taken of the power station at Tarbrax.
