Details the sale of land and estate at Knightsridge and Dechmont Law by The Pumpherston Oil Company Limited to the Livingston Development Corporation for the total sum of £25,300. Included is a collection of correspondence between The Pumpherston Oil Company Limited and A.J. Meldrum Esq of Dechmont House, Uphall dated 21st November 1922 until the 26th February 1923. The letters discuss the erection of a boundary fence between Dechmont Law and Lands of Knightsridge. Included is a plan which highlight in red the proposed fence.
