Details the compulsory purchase order for Plots. No. 12 and 92 to build the new Newbridge-Dechmont section of the M8 motorway. Included is a typed note from the Scottish Development Department to Scottish Oils Limited informing them of 'The Restriction of Ribbon Development Act 1935, The Trunk Roads Act 1936, The Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) (Scotland) Act 1947 and The Special Roads Act 1949. Also attached is a schedule regarding the land referred to in the correspondance and also a plan by The Scottish Development Department of 'Edinburgh-Glasgow Motorway M8, Newbridge - Dechmont Section, Land Interest Plan'.
