OBITUARY

There was a feeling of regret when it was learned in the town that a well-known personality, Mr George G. Tweedhope of 5 Saughbank, had died. A native of Winchburgh he has resided in Broxburn since his marriage 42 years ago. Seventy-three years of age he followed the occupation of shale miner until he retired at 65 years of age. Mr Tweedhope had been in some indifferent health for some years past. A quiet friendly old fellow, he was held in high esteem in the district. He is survived by his wife and one son who is in Australia.
