Mr.Fraser made reference to the death on 31st December, 1924, of Mr. James T. Gilmour, a chief clerk , whose service in The Broxburn Oil Co. Ltd. and in this Company had extended over the last 35 years. Mr. Fraser stated the circumstances in which his widow and family of two daughters had been left and asked the Board to consider the question of making an allowance for their benefit. It was agreed on Mr. Fraser's recommendation to grant an allowance of £50 a year during the pleasure of the Board.
