For offences against the lighting regulations, fines of £1 each with the option of seven days' imprisonment were imposed on the following:- Robert Lamond, miner, 58 Castle Terrace, Winchburgh; John McDowal Edgar, farm manager, Bangour Farm, Uphall; John Rothnie, labourer, 74 Philipingstone Road, Bo'ness.
