Description
Air flow meter used in Tottleywells No 1 shale mine
Used in measuring air flow in underground passages. The instrument consists of a vane driving a series of dials, the main face measuring 10 cubic feet per revolution, with five subsidiary dials providing increasing decimal increments. Marked "No.1247 air meter" with makers name in the centre of the main dial. With wooden carrying box, dated 23rd June 1960
