Description

Dual-use tea and sugar tin

Donated by Joseph Anderson. He commenced an Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship with Scottish Oils Ltd on 18 December 1929 until he was transferred to the National Coal Board in 1947. Duties included installation and maintenance of mining and oil works plants, including switch and control gear, motors for driving pumps, haulages, winders and other equipment and the laying and jointing of cables. He also conducted general and house wiring in conduit and lead covered systems
