B&W negative copied in 1990 from official albums then held at Grangemouth refinery.

This general view of the refinery shows five cracking towers, the experimental retort, and various storage tanks. The gap site in the centre of the picture marks the site of Pumpherston No. 1 mine which was closed prior to 1925.
