Description

B&W negative copied in 1990 from official albums then held at Grangemouth refinery.

From the early 1930's new processes and equipment were introduced to Pumpherston allowing most of the output to be converted to road fuels. This view shows a tubestill with fractionating tower and, on the left, condensers.
