Map with Hermand on one side showing Lands of Harwood, Limefield, Muirhouse, East Torphin, West Torphin and details of outcrops of shale and Houston coal. Map of Breich is printed on the reverse detailing the Lands of East Westwood, Charlesfield, Seafield, Blackburn, Whitehill and Wester Breich including details of the workings in Fell's [?] shale.
Details the companies who have leased particular areas of the land for shale working along with bore details. Scale of both maps 2 1/4 inch = 2000ft. Undated, but presumed to be of a similar date to the other documents with the collection, 1885.
