Accident at an Addiewell pit .—A serious accident happened to a young man named George Sanderson, who is engaged as a miner in No. 2 pit, Addiewell, Sanderson was working at the face when a stone from the roof fell on his head, and fractured his skull. Drs M'Donald and Young were speedily in attendance, and the injured man sent to the Edinburgh Infirmary Lanarkshire Upper Ward Examiner, 11th January 1890
