143416 - Decision by Bathgate District Committee of Linlithgow County Council on 9th July 1901, to charge wayleave on existing level crossings. "Crossing on the main Bathgate and Airdrie Road belonging to H. Muir & Coy. at the east end of Armadale Village. The road traffic here is very considerable and there is also large traftic on the railway. The charge should not be less than £5."

LEVEL CROSSING AT ARMADALE. A comunication from Messrs Muir, brick manufacturers, was read requesting the use of the level crossing at the east end of Armadale. It was agreed to grant the request, providing that gatees etc. were put into proper order.
