    To LET, the minerals on the ESTATE of BLACKHILL, County of Edinburgh, consisting of Coal, Limestone and Two Good Freestone Quarries. One of the Quarries has been lowered and found to be of good quality and 54ft thick.     ADDIEWELL - NEW PIT SHAFT—The Woodmuir Coal Coy., are sinking two shafts at the verge of Longford Moss, near to the Woodmuir branch of the Caledonian Railway, as it is understood there is an abundance of coal under the peaty surface. The new pit will give an impetus, at least, a help to our local trade.
